If the above was not clear, here are the instructions from Sharefile;
Navigating through ShareFile:
Navigation through ShareFile will help you locate files that you need to download. To navigate through the account, click on the Folder you wish to view. This will display the contents of the folder and the files that are available to you. Also, you can use the Search function on the left side of your screen to search for a particular file or folder.
To download files or folders:
Click the check box next to the file or folder you wish to download
Click the Download button
*Note: Try to remember where you are downloading the file to (Desktop, My Documents, etc) so you can easily retrieve it later.
Once downloaded, you will see a message in your web browser that the download has completed. For single files, they will be saved “as-is” to the location of your choice. If you download multiple files/folders, they will be downloaded as a Zip file (.zip). This will look like a small folder with a zipper on it.
To unzip the file and view the contents:
Right click on the zip file
Select “Extract All”, “Unzip” or “Extract Files” from the menu After selecting the option, your computer will ask you where you would like to unzip the files to. The location will be the same as your original zip file. A second folder will be created matching the zip file. The only different will be that the icons have changed and the file are available for you to view. You will notice the zipper has disappeared on the new folder. |
